I´m a self-taught drawing artist and artisan crafter from Argentina.
Though I´ve never been formally instructed as an artist, through effort and many years of practice, I´m managing to make a humble living doing the things I love! ^^
I enjoy most forms of art, and Literature, history, biology, mythology and animation are some of the many things I love and feel interested about, and they influence certain aspects of my work.
The Lord of the rings and The Dark Crystal have been my two main sources of inspiration, and they clearly echo through my art style and tone, whether more obviously (as seen in my extensive fanart on both) or more subtlely, in the aesthetics of my original works.
The wonderful Skeksis from Jim Henson´s The dark crystal and Sméagol/Gollum from the Lord of the rings have been muse-characters for me, and I love to create fanart about them!
A bit about my backgrounds:
*I grew up avidly reading fairytales, folkloric and fantasy stories, and watching fantasy movies (like The Dark Crystal, Legend, Labyrinth, The Neverending story and the amazing Storyteller show)
The fascinating worlds these stories and movies brought to life woke my imagination since my earliest childhood, making me want to create "magical" things, creatures and visions like those which populated my favorite books and films.
I breathed and lived fantasy and dinosaurs, and drew a lot about them during my entire childhood. Later in life, even tho my feelings for the magical and bizarre worlds within the stories I loved had not dimmed, I had serious intentions to follow up a specific career which I had been preparing myself for across my teenage years: my plan was to become a palaeonthologist.
After many visits to the university, making numbers and several failed attempts to rise funds for the career with multiple part time jobs, I had to admit my defeat and abandoned that pursue.
Of course, life had to go on, and I still needed to make a living, so I resorted to what I had always been doing just for fun: art!
I knew I had to take art seriously if I intended to live from it, so I practically imbibed any shard of knowledge I could get about it, gathering and carefully reading old books on the subject, doing my best to interact with anyone who'd give me feedback, learning from observation and working hard to make my works commercial-worthy.
I a couple of years, and after lots of practice, trial and error and strife to manage decent drawings and sculpts, I ended up becoming a freelancer artist, and living from what I draw and sculpt.
My biggest and most heartfelt passion lies into illustration and comic-making, although my sculpts and crafts are currently my main source of incomes!
Here in Deviant art, I´ve found a supportive and kind community with which I can happily share my drawings, sculpts, and most of all a lot of fanart, which is what I do just for fun, and one of the things that make me smile every day!
I surely hope my works will make you all smile too! ^^
Hey,
I was using a red washcloth as my Chamberlain's red robe with black polyester on the back held there with pins before, but as of now, one of my aunts sewed it on finally. She did a wonderful job.
Happy to know you're happier with your Chamberlain's cloth robes now ^^
I even took some pics.
Thank you for all the favs ! Finally, I posted them all on time ! Oh btw you can look at number 5 there is nothing risky on it I just put the mature filter in case it could trigger some people lol
Oh, I saw it! There's nothing really mature in the image, tho, yes, the description might admittedly be a bit too much for me. It'll all okay of course: your AU, your choices! 👌
I really wish there was a way to also censor descriptions like other websites can x')
That's not necessary! (And I think it wouldn't be fair) I'm sure there'll be lots of people who enjoy these themes and won't feel the way I do about them (let's say I just had really bad experiences I associate with nsfw and thus choose to stay away from them.) Most of the people I know are perfectly fine with it and think it's fun/interesting/cool, which is fair enough. Even if I don't, a lot of people will surely enjoy these ideas you had.
Like I said before: you do you!
