The cracking-possible cover

Here you go: at last, I seemed to have remembered I never paid anny attention as to give my story "The Cracking" a decent cover!
This is my idea for cover art on it, at least for now...
A stylized design comprising our two main characters in the story, Chamberlain SkekSil the skeksis, and his assistant Kaia, the gelfling...
To the left bottom, you can se a floating parchment, which is the same scroll of parchment the tale speaks of: one filled with secrets that would soon be unveiled by chance, after fate sends out two unlikely heroes to adventure.

The flowers and thorns were meant ro represent division but also some kind of hidden beauty and innocence (on the gelfling's behalf).

They are loosely based on roses, and though they are not in the story, I wanted to invent some flora for the planet Thra, where the action takes place.

They are supposed to be called "Wyspia" and their petals and configuration is simmilar to earth's roses, although their color variations go usually from blue hues to purple rimmed  lilac...like these in the illustration.
Wyspias grew as thorned bushes, reaching a regular skeksis' shoulder in height, in average. 
It's leaves were heart-shaped, and could be boiled into a delicious sweet tea.
They have sprouted in all green parts of Thra since always, but even when at the skeksis castle they were long ago appreciated as exotic, beautiful adornments to be kept in pots and earthen patches at the great gardens, in time they began to dry and die out, such as everything else green around and within the castle lands, aftre the skeksis began to wither and suffer the passing of time, and started to extract energy from every living thing in order to keep alive...

Yes, I know...I just invented some strange bothanical species for a single drawing...please bear with me!

The drawing was hand made with common black pencils, inked by quill and black ink, and colored with color pencils.
