SkekLa works - SKEKMAL knotwork

Hey there everyone!
THIS is the first of a small series of drawings I had been wanting to make.
It took me a lot of re-sketching and gathering courage to ink it, since I am rusty at knotwork and it's a hard and painstaking way into art XD
BUT
I am more than pleased with how this one came along!
SO...
These are meant to be "excerpts" from the scrolls and books SkekLa the Illustrator would do for the Empire, depicting and ornating the Historian's accunts with embellishments of all sorts, knotworks, abstract designs, and also more represenative art such as portraits and such.
The Excerpts I'll be doing will show SkekLa's  idea of what stylized skeksis art is: Celtic-like knotworks crisscrossing in all directions, representing determined skeksis, and their professions or activity at a particular moment-as required from the scroll or page she'd be Illustrating*

THIS one, my first, is meant to represent SkekMal in a "latter homage" page. 
It is completely hand-drawn in black ink-applied with a quill- and later painted with color ink, via thin brushes.
It took me 4 hours to complete it!*and certainly a lot of back ache!*
The breef text is intended to seem more ornamental than calligraphic, due to presumely being the Illustrator who did it...the rest of SkekMal's memorial pages would be simply stylized calligraphy by SkekOk, describing the Hunter's life and demise...this would be the first page into such small memento.
SkekMal himself is at the top left of the knot, dressed in black and brandishing a bejeweled dagger at a skreeku (the brown animal at the top-right) which intends to defend from him...To the missle-and-lower left, a huge Rakkida "bites on SkekMal's cloak" and to the middle, we can see a small vividly colored fish the Hunter is stepping on as a sign of domination over his prey. Under it, a green dragonish creature is also tangles as it was presumely one of SkekMal's choice quarries, and below it, to the bottom, a Vargrst curls up for defense, biting the greenish creature's tail...
