Ah...yet another great page in Africa's life!
Here we have the young Africa, offering her mother a fresh kill. The following takes place in nature all the time: There comes a moment when it is time to grow up for all wild creatures...and Giza is making no exceptions!...The surprising violence with which she rejects Africa and tells her off her lands is not an uncommon thing...but for us humans may be cruel and hard to watch.Okay, eough with the plot! Now for the technical aspects!
You made an excellent work with bringing the color palette down to greys, blues and cold tones. The colors actually chill our spine as much as to see what's going on, it helps a lot to create the tragic climate of an unpleasant moment looming ahead...
Then, the face of Africa in the third pannel is brilliant. A mixture of horror and surprise. She cannot believe her mother would strike at her...nevertheless it's just happened, and she's as scared as she is flabbergasted!
You make a feast out of animal anatomy, as usual, and the dynamics of the comic are becoming even more lively and excellent, if that is even possible!
I'll be anxiously waiting for more!
Hoho thank you SO much! I'm so happy you're enjoying the comic so much smeagolisme
I agree, while it may look harsh for humans, for leopards it's just natural to send their children off once they reach adult age
I'm glad you think the mood is fitting for this scene, I'm having a lot of fun working with colour palettes!
And thank you for your sweet words on the anatomies and expressions <3 That's really kind of you to say^^
I am!...And I'll keep on enjoying it! ^^
Yes...Normal for them, but then Africa is not entirely normal...she's a sweet hearted thing, which separates her a bit from most of her kind...and will eventually cost her pain. Poor thing.
The mood is simply perfect!!!
Always, my friend! You earned it!
